Welcome to the sixth annual JaxParks Geocaching Challenge!

This year we are introducing you to many new JaxParks and visiting some old favorites! We have 30 geocaches ready to go, with something for everyone! As always, the first 100 geocachers to complete the JaxParks Challenge will receive a beautiful, trackable geocoin. You will see many new parks and parks with new features.  After the success of last year’s introduction, you can look forward to two new amazing Gadget caches!

The verification process for this year’s Challenge is new.  We will continue to use a passport, and each cache log will have a stencil attached to it. Using a pen or pencil, you will trace around or shade in the shape of the stencil on your passport in the corresponding box. You’ll need to record 25 out of 30 geocaches on your passport (and all the shapes must be on one passport) to qualify for your coin.

You can pick your coin up at REI in Jacksonville by taking your completed 2017 JaxParks Geocaching Challenge Passport to the front desk for verification.
